YouTube star ‘Dr. Mike’ Evans to speak Jan. 6

Great news … Dr. Mike Evans is coming to UCC for an interactive presentation on the value of good nutrition today and for the rest of our lives. “Dr Mike” is a world-renowned sports medicine expert, popular YouTube whiteboard series star and consultant physician to the CBC’s “Fresh Air” radio show. Evans will present at the Upper School assembly on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 8:30 a.m.
Evans is a staff physician, director of the Health Design Lab and a scientist in the Keenan Research Centre of the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital. In addition, he’s an associate professor of family medicine and public health at the University of Toronto and was a physician at the Sochi Olympics. Evans work has been profiled in the Journal of the American Medical Association, British Journal of Medicine, Walrus, and the hit Netflix series Orange is the New Black.
