On Wednesday, Dec. 19, the Year 8 classes from Branksome Hall will come to UCC for a day of conversation and connection. The day begins with an icebreaker activity, followed by a screening of Babies, a documentary about the very different lives of four babies from different parts of the world. The film raises important questions about happiness, perspectives and humanity. The afternoon will be spent in groups, debriefing the film through discussions and activities and skating or playing games. The boys will sign up in their forms for the either games area (board not video) or the rink. All skaters must wear CSA-approved helmets. Our hope is the day builds connections between students from the schools before we embark on the Collaboration Day in early February.
Please also send your son with a non-perishable food item as we are donating to local food banks.
