Volunteers needed for new-parent mentoring program

Every year, several current parents offer their time to our parent mentoring program. In fact, many of you have already done this in the past. Thank you! Once again we need “veteran” UCC parents to volunteer to help new parents get acquainted more smoothly with our school community.

We have more than 20 new day-boy families and even more new boarding families join us every year. As a volunteer parent mentor, you would be assigned to a new family and act as another source of information (and comfort) for that family. Whether providing insights into A-Day, academic life and co-curricular balance, tips for student-parent-teacher meetings or city life suggestions about Toronto, having another, more experienced parent to turn to for advice can be most helpful to a “rookie” parent.

So, if you’re interested and available to lend a hand, and an ear, please click here to sign up.

Thank you so much,
Evan Williams
Dean of Students
