University of King’s College, Halifax FYP Arts: 101 Webinar | Tuesday, May 11 from 7 p.m.–8 p.m. EDT.
The King’s Foundation Year Program (FYP) is a unique approach to the first year of an Art or Music degree. Find out what makes it different and how it pairs with courses at Dalhousie by meeting Dr. Daniel Brandes, director of the Foundation Year Program, and Dr. Roberta Barker, associate professor. You will learn more about how the FYP is structured, different course offerings in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the resources available to you at both King’s and Dalhousie. This is a great way to learn all about the custom options available to King’s students through our partnership with Dalhousie.

All high school students and their families who are starting their college search process are invited to explore RIT throughout this virtual event. This is a perfect first look at RIT for high school juniors, sophomores and freshmen.
They’ll provide a university overview, discuss their extraordinary majors, and share how their co-op program will help lead to a career after you graduate. They’ll also review the application process, scholarships and financial aid.

The presentation will begin with a brief overview of the Central New York area and then offer breakout sessions with all five participating institutions. Note that they have tried to ensure there will be a presentation focused on your time zone and have indicated the suggested region below:
