University Counselling Presents: Applying to U.K. and International Universities

This session will examine the international post-secondary options available to our students. It will focus on the U.K. admission process, including direct-entry professional programs in medicine, law and veterinary programs, as well as other exciting opportunities that exist beyond the North American continent. This session will address the whys and hows of international study.

With more than 3,500 post-secondary institutions, the U.S. offers a wider range of options than any other system in the world. Join the University Counselling Office as we explore why a student may wish to consider pursuing their university studies south of the border. Topics include the application process, the role of standardized testing, how students are selected as well as the financial implications of studying in the U.S.

In this session, we will learn not only about the various universities and programs but also about the opportunities presented by studying at any one of Canada’s post-secondary institutions. From specialized programs such as classic animation to the benefits of pursuing a co-op program, Canadian universities have something for every student.
