UCC/BSS Fall Play: Molière’s The Imaginary Invalid
Please join us Nov. 22-24 in the lecture theatre at 7:30 p.m. for this year’s fall play, The Imaginary Invalid, a farce by the legendary playwright Molière. Originally written in French, this adaptation by Milles Malleson maintains the integrity of his social satire. You’ll be entertained by a world inhabited by stock characters inspired by Commedia dell’arte: the miser, the charlatan, the crafty servant, the schemer, and of course the young lovers. Disguises add to the confusion as characters try to outsmart one another. Our dedicated Year 8 to Year 10 students have been rehearsing for months and are excited to present the results of their efforts to the UCC/BSS community. Our promotional poster was created by Year 8 Design student Sam Hong. Tickets will be available starting Nov. 16.
