Top ten universities in Canada for future entrepreneurs

University Hub published the results of a survey asking Canadian students to rate their universities on how supportive they were to entrepreneurial enterprises. The ranked list is as follows:

1.      Bishop’s University (The Dobson-Lagasse Entrepreneurship Centre)

2.      Laurier University (Laurier LaunchPad)

3.      Queen’s University (Centre for Business Venturing)

4.      Brock University (BioLinc)

5.      University of Waterloo (VeloCity)

6.      Ryerson University (DMZ–Digital Medial Zone)

7.      Western University (Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship)

8.      Acadia University (Acadia Entrepreneurship Centre)

9.      St. Francis Xavier University (StFX Enterprise Development Centre)

10.  University of British Columbia (e@UBC)

Obviously, this list is based on student impressions and in other rankings (by business magazines, for example) the order might change. Still…not a bad place to start!
