Test kits provided for families to use during the break
Dear UCC Families,
The Provincial Government recently announced that public school students will be sent home with rapid antigen screening kits during the December winter break. To help keep our community healthy and safe, UCC sent a package of five rapid antigen screening kits home to every student who is not currently participating in the College’s rapid antigen screening (RAS) program.
We recommend that you use the kits to screen your children twice weekly (Sunday and Wednesday evenings) during the break. Please note that these kits are intended for your personal use and results do not need to be uploaded to the Thrive app.
Students in Years 7 through 12 will have received their package of kits on Wednesday, Dec. 15 during the house meeting time for Upper School students and during the last period for Year 7 students.
Please note that those students currently enrolled in our RAS program have a sufficient supply of kits for continued use throughout the holiday season.
If you have any questions, please email the Health Centre.
