Team wins Major League Hacking award

My team received the Major League Hacking bronze award and the SAP Innovation award at the Electric City Hackathon at Trent University from Nov. 4 to 6. We designed a project called Farm Radar, a modular remote sensing system that scans agricultural and environmental data and gives real-time feedback. It’s a box with ports which many sensors could be plugged into. This project enables farmers to set up their own unique scanning system by simply plugging sensors to the port. The system automatically detects the sensor type and send real-time data to the website and phone app. This provides farmers a more flexible, easier and cheaper solution to farm scanning.
