Which standardized test should you take to apply to U.S. colleges?

UCC is working in partnership with The Princeton Review to provide an opportunity for interested IB1 students to write a combined ACT/SAT diagnostic test at no charge to determine which standardized test might be the best fit.

The test is scheduled on an afternoon focus day and will run from 2 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21. A follow-up session to debrief the scores is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29. This is simply a practice test, so there’s no risk involved and scores won’t be disclosed to colleges.

IB1 students who didn’t write the diagnostic test last April and wish to take advantage of this opportunity must register with Ms. Berndsen by email at lberndsen@ucc.on.ca by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16. We’ll notify students about the location of the test once we’ve finalized the number of registrants. Students will need pencils, erasers and calculators to write the test.
