St. Lawrence Market
On the morning of September 28, UCC boarders took the TTC to the St. Lawrence Market on Front Street. This is one of the largest and oldest markets in Toronto. The first downtown market, located on King Street, opened in 1803 and the Saturday morning trek to market has been happening in the general area for over 200 years. On this occasion the boys enjoyed a healthy peameal bacon breakfast sandwich at Paddington’s Pump. The boys returned to campus with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as delicacies they can cook on the BBQs located in the quadrangle between Seaton’s and Wedd’s.
