Information evening about private liberal arts education in Canada on Nov. 13

The president of Quest University, Dr. David J. Helfand, will hosting an evening about the university in the Old Library at Havergal College, 1451 Avenue Road at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13. Students and parents are welcome to attend and find out more about this unique institution.

Located just north of Vancouver on the Pacific coast, Quest is a private liberal arts university guided by the premise that “the best education comes not from knowing the right answers, but in learning to ask insightful questions.” Founded by the former president of the University of British Columbia, the university accepted its first students in the fall of 2007. It prides itself on offering students an intimate learning environment with small classes and an integrated and international curriculum: there is a strong emphasis on experiential learning.

If you wish more information about the event, please email Trevor Mannion.
