Registration for UCC’s Summer Life program is open
UCC will launch its new co-ed summer-in-residence program for students aged 10 to 16 in July and August.
The energetic and cosmopolitan backdrop of Toronto will provide many enrichment opportunities.
The program comprises three sections: Junior (ages 10 and 11); Intermediate (ages 12 and 13); and Leadership (ages 14 to 16).
Campers in the Junior and Intermediate divisions will choose from a wide variety of one-week day camps, with the option of selecting three diverse camp options to experience within the program. Leadership campers will participate in UCC’s leadership-in-training program, which incorporates a team-centred approach to initiative, volunteerism and mentorship. Students will spend their days integrated into UCC’s day camp population, making connections with local campers and enhancing their English language skills.
Students will participate in cultural excursions to local landmarks in and around Toronto on evenings and weekends. Participants in the UCC Summer Life program will visit some of Toronto’s and Ontario’s most popular tourist attractions, including the CN Tower, Niagara Falls, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Royal Ontario Museum and Centre Island. They’ll also enjoy an overnight camping trip to UCC’s Norval campus.
There are still spaces open for both male and female registrants in both session A (Sunday, July 15 to Saturday, Aug. 4) and session B (Sunday, Aug. 5 to Saturday, Aug. 25) of the UCC Summer Life program. It’s a perfect opportunity for any international students or out-of-towners.
