Register for special presentation of screen-time cautionary film on April 25
An award-winning documentary is coming to UCC. It helps us understand and overcome the drug-like effect of screen time on the teenage brain. Save the date of Tuesday, April 25 at 7 p.m. in the lecture theatre at the Upper School.
Screenagers depicts the messy struggle over social media, video games, academics and Internet addiction. Through surprising insights from authors and brain scientists, solutions emerge on how we can empower kids to best navigate the digital world.
This 68-minute film has won awards and high praise from The New York Times, PBS Newshour, The Today Show and The Dr. Oz Show to name a few.
A short discussion will follow, moderated by respected technology, teen expert and UCC parent Dr. Trip Pell. Other moderators will be IT Head Jim LaPlante and incoming Head Steward Adam Rothman ’18. Parents, teens and pre-teens will all benefit from this engaging film. Click here to register.
