Read more »The Outdoors Club will be running a four-day winter camping/snowshoeing trip from Saturday, March 30 to Tuesday, April 2 in Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park. The trip cost will range from $220-440, depending on the number of students going.
We will be camping with “hot tents” and borrowing snowshoes and winter sleeping bags from Norval, so your son will be warm and toasty when we are not snowshoeing. We will be doing day hikes to picturesque lakes and lookouts, and returning to our base camp at night.
There is room for six-10 students on the trip, and registration will be first-come first-served.
This trip counts towards the “adventurous journey” component of the Duke of Ed.
