Nunavut highschool exchange for Y2, FY and IB1

Download Available:
Application Form for Kugluktuk

Three UCC students and three students from St. Mildred’s Lightbourn School will be travelling next March break to Kugluktuk. The Kugluktuk students will return to UCC the following week. All students will be billeted with their exchange partner’s family.

While this exchange ran in 2016, the relationship between UCC and Kugluktuk was first initiated in 2010 when UCC students joined Kugluktuk High School (KHS) students on a trip down the Coppermine River.

In addition to attending classes each day with KHS students, activities include building and camping in an igloo, visiting Bloody Falls, touring the land and partaking in community gatherings.

Interested students should complete the download and return it to Deirdre Timusk by Monday, May 1.
