Nov. 7 Deadline for John D. Stevenson Award Nominations
Do you know an individual who’s made a significant volunteer contribution to the life of the College? If so, we need to know by Monday, Nov. 7.
The John D. Stevenson Award for outstanding volunteer service to UCC is awarded each year at Founder’s Dinner to an Old Boy or parent whose commitment to UCC over several years has been exceptional. Recent recipients of the award include Piera Morra, David Walker ’51, Andy Pringle ’69, Hugh Innes ’72, Holly Miklas, Martha Shaw, Roly Watt ’62, Vivien Cappe and Ted Mills ’81.
Nominations are welcome from all members of the College community in written format. They should include details about the nature and time of the nominee’s volunteer service and the reason for the nomination. The nomination form can filled out online here or you can email your nominations to Jody Jacobson at email@example.com.
All nominations will be reviewed by the Association Council, and a recipient selected. The John D. Stevenson Award will be presented at the annual Founder’s Dinner in February.
