New McMaster program caters to students who want to combine health sciences and business
Students who complete two years in science or health sciences at McMaster University will now have to opportunity to apply for a Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization Bachelor’s/Master’s program. Students will complete the final two years of their undergraduate degree and then proceed into a course-based 12-month master’s degree that includes a 4-month internship in the health sciences sector. There will be an emphasis on experiential and team-based learning. Course offerings will include drug discovery and development, applied marketing, accounting for decision-making, and laboratory skills. Details are available here.
