More useful online tools for researching post-secondary programs

Students who are looking to compare programs of interest both inside and outside Canada should explore the resources on two relatively new websites.

Hot Courses Abroad https://www.hotcoursesabroad.com/ will pull up a list of programs based on subject, country (including Canada), degree type (e.g. undergraduate), academic qualifications (e.g. IB, OSSD) and current grades. It allows students to check rankings, read student reviews, and download prospectuses.

While BachelorsPortal http://www.bachelorsportal.eu/ is aimed primarily at European students, it has lots of relevant information for Canadians. The website allows a student to search by broad academic categories or specific subjects based on the country of interest. It provides helpful highlights of each program of interest and links to individual program websites.
