Mon Sheong Golden Jubilee Scholarship

The Mon Sheong Golden Jubilee Scholarship is presented annually to students who demonstrate well-rounded excellence and a desire to make real change. The award recognizes outstanding achievement, commendable contributions, and strength of character. Each recipient will be granted $1000 per year for a maximum of four years.

The award is open to students who are:

• Canadian citizens or permanent residents graduating from a Canadian high school with a minimum “best 6 average” of 80%
• Enrolled full time in a degree or diploma program at a publicly funded Canadian university or college beginning in the fall of 2020
• Aspiring to make a difference in their community

Applicants will be evaluated on:

• Academic standing
• Voluntary community involvement
• Leadership
• Character
• Aspirations to make a difference

The completed application includes personal and academic information, community involvement, and a short essay. Students must submit a final report card, reference letter, and signature page. The application deadline is July 5. More information is available at www.monsheong.org/scholarship.
