Message from Tanya Sweeney, Head, Preparatory School
Dear Prep families,
I hope this message finds you and your extended families in good health. We are now in Phase 2 of the Continuous Learning Plan (CLP). Thank you to students and families who are engaging in our online learning and sharing their stories and feedback with us. We look forward to ongoing enhancements being introduced in the coming days.
We are moving forward with our Parent Coffee sessions, continuing with two online coffees next week:
SK/Year 1: Monday, April 20, 1:30pm – 2:30pm
Year 2: Wednesday, April 22, 1:30pm – 2:30pm
We’ve taken care to identify a time of day which may work for most families and educators. We understand that this time may not suit all, and given that these coffees are optional, please prioritize what is needed to be most supportive of your working and family circumstances.
Despite these challenging times, we continue to discover the kind and responsive efforts of our school community, including those of Year 5 student Lincoln Dugas-Nishisato and his family. We are looking forward to presenting our Prep families with community service ideas and opportunities that can be safely engaged in from home. Having recently read a few articles indicating that our wellbeing can be enhanced by helping others, I am glad we might be able to engage in this sort of pursuit.
With our wishes for your continued health,
