Message from Tanya Sweeney, Head, Preparatory School
Dear Prep Families,
Thank you for our continued partnership. I’m feeling grateful for the collaboration I have observed between SK-Year 5 families and our Primary Division teachers as a result of our recent three-way conferences. We hope that students, parents and teachers found them helpful in celebrating growth and setting goals for the learning that remains ahead.
An exciting new initiative on the horizon is Project Week, for students in Years 6 and 7. Project Week is an interdisciplinary learning experience that you can learn more about by reading the article by Joe Smith, our MYP Coordinator, in this week’s edition of Heads Up.
Your child’s attendance at school during Project Week is critically important. Project Week begins on Fri, Feb. 28 and continues through to and including Thurs, March 5.
A reminder that this Fri, Feb. 21, is Casual Dress Day for the Prep!
With my thanks,
Head of the Preparatory School
