Message from Tanya Sweeney
Dear Prep families,
Thank you for participating in our online information sessions. Please reach out to your student’s Form Adviser or specialist teachers for recordings or if you are seeking clarification.
After a spell of incredible fall weather, the rains may be arriving soon. As we are making an effort to spend as much time outdoors as possible, and our Norval programming is typically held outdoors in unpleasant but manageable weather, please ensure your child comes to school dressed so that the outdoors can be enjoyed.
We are exploring how we may celebrate Halloween safely and will offer further information soon. Unfortunately, families will not be able to participate with the students on campus this year. For now, the family calendar indicates that Friday, October 30 is a Prep Casual Dress Day.
Forest Hill road construction is now complete—thank you very much for your patience! While the paving on Kilbarry Road may impact Prep drivers, we are hoping to continue to have a dialogue with the engineers so as to avoid surprises.
Lastly, thank you again to students for their patient approach to school routines this fall. They’ve been nothing short of extraordinary!
Wishing you a safe and restful long weekend,
Head of the Preparatory School
