Message from Form 5
In this last week before the Exhibition, students were very busy completing their research and action projects. Group members continued to work on the activity they created that will teach others about their Exhibition topics. For some students this involved making a brochure, an iMovie, a PowerPoint presentation or an educational game. Students also collected the documentation of their actions and wrote reflections to add to their display boards. Students learned to create displays with appropriate attention to symmetry, colour schemes, spacing, consistent font size and styles. They also wrote a “pitch” to grab the attention of Exhibition visitors on May 8.
Parents, please note there will be lots to see on Exhibition Day. Aside from visiting your son’s booth, please be sure to view their art projects, their French animated cartoons and their weekly learning logs. All of these projects are tied to the process and lines of inquiry for Exhibition. The opening ceremonies will begin promptly at 1 p.m. and the closing ceremonies will begin at 2:30 p.m.. See you there.
