Message from Form 4
Hello from Norval! With the sunny weather and amazing Norval times, this trip will likely be remembered for years to come.
Yesterday, the Grade 4s finished off their big bike trip. We cycled our 15 kilometres to the flight centre in record time. It was a beautiful clear day so many boys enjoyed seeing the aerial perspective of Norval from the small planes. Our bike ride back to Norval was filled with more sunshine and a few winds. Every boy finished the 35-km trip with big smiles.
Just a reminder that this year was our first year to be part of the Ride for Heart. If your son hasn’t yet gathered pledges for his ride, please encourage him to get at least one pledge. You can make a donation here.
A huge “thank you” goes out to Zoe Mahony and Lindsay Black for organizing the awesome bright orange shirts. Many boys are planning on wearing them for pyjamas tonight. And as always, thank you so much to the wonderful Norval staff for taking the time to organize and lead the “best trip ever,” a direct quote heard at least 15 times over the past 48 hours.
If you’re able, please bring your son’s bike home with him after the trip. We can store them in our classrooms, but we’ll no longer be cycling.
