Thursday, Oct. 8: Prize Day schedule; iDiv assembly at 11:20 a.m., Hewitt Athletic Centre; iDiv games from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 9: Afternoon focus for Thanksgiving; dismissal at 1:15 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 12: Thanksgiving; no school

The Y1/Y2 parent information evening was held on Sept. 29. Presenters Mary Gauthier, Evan Williams and I are preparing a summary of the presentation and will also share some of the feedback we received. Thank you for your patience, as this will be in next week’s Heads Up.

The first iDiv assembly is scheduled for next week during the Prize Day ceremonies for the Senior Division. It will be brief, with iDiv updates on co-curricular activities, and lead the boys into their games period.

It’s hard to believe but the Thanksgiving weekend will be here next week, marking four-and-a-half weeks of school so far. It’s been an exhilarating time with the buzz and excitement of school life, and the long weekend will be a welcome break. I’m working hard at learning the names of all the boys new to the Upper School. It’s steady and a bit slow, but I’m getting results. Patience is my mantra.
