May Day is the biggest sports day in the spring calendar for UCC. The players and their coaches have been working hard at skill acquisition, applying offensive and defensive systems of play, and learning to work together as a team in preparation for their competitive encounters against rivals in their sports. Come on out and support them on Saturday. Please consult the athletics link for all the details on teams and game times. Go Blues!
June exams are four weeks away and there’s much activity at the school to help boys prepare themselves. The Centre For Learning continues to offer exam prep sessions for all grades and boys are encouraged to sign up. Classroom teachers and advisers are also broaching the topic with boys in a reasonable and time-sensitive manner. These opportunities are not meant to cause additional stress, but are more to instill in the boys a sense of forward thinking, planning and calendar management. The earlier these school and life skills begin to be addressed and developed, the better.
