Congratulations to everyone on their accomplishments and experiences in our vast co-curricular offerings. Now that iDiv school teams have completed their spring sports seasons, everyone’s focus shifts to preparation for exams. This is a time when all boys should use what they learned from previous exam-writing experiences and apply them to this round.

Those in Year 2 who wrote Upper School June exams last year have the benefit of this experience. As a result, they should be better prepared and therefore have a more positive experience this year. For new Year 2 boys and all Year 1 boys, this will be a first-time experience and they must do all they can to heed the advice given by teachers, attend CFL exam preparation sessions (advertised for many weeks now) and take these exams seriously. The best way to manage exams and keep anxiety at bay is to prepare as well as possible. Perhaps that’s easier said than done given the many distractions of the spring (weather, professional sports, personal passions and interests, etc.), but this is an important academic skill to develop and each exam contributes to the process.

Thank you for reading.
