The Year 2/Foundation Year spring dance tomorrow night is the last dance of the year for boys in these grades. Tickets must be pre-purchased and there’s a dress code to be followed. As with all school-sanctioned functions, school rules are in effect — particularly the alcohol and drug policy. Boys and our guests are encouraged to have a fun night while honouring our expectations.

The Amnesty International Club will be putting on an Indigenous Rights Awareness Week, featuring the past-president of the Native Women’s Association of Canada, an indigenous music group, and some documentaries during the lunch hour on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, exposing us to the constant mistreatment of indigenous people, rights, lands, values and culture.

Final exams for all IB2 students run continue daily until Monday, May 22. Boys in the lower grades are asked to be respectful in and around exam-writing locations as a show of respect.

Don’t miss the last open house of this academic year at the Norval Outdoor School on Sunday, May 14. Norval director Bill Elgie and his staff have another wonderful afternoon of activities planned for visitors to come out and enjoy this beautiful facility. Mark this in your calendar and come on out.

Thanks for reading.
