A-Day is this Saturday, Sept. 24. School teams will host visiting CISAA teams on the biggest day of athletics at the College. It’s a day for the whole family as there’s always something for everyone in a carnival-like atmosphere including live music, a dunk tank, a children’s play area, arts displays, UCC swag, snacks, a barbecue and of course sports. Please see the detailed article in this edition of Heads Up and come out to support the boys and the faculty and staff.

Cell phone management is a challenge we all share as teachers and as parents. They have limited application in our teaching environments and more often than not, are a major distraction that interferes with learning. At the Upper School, boys are asked to keep them safely locked away in their lockers and we are moving in the direction of the iDiv being a cell phone-free zone at all times. Students bear full responsibility for the proper use, care and safety of their phones, and must accept the consequences that accompany inappropriate use (confiscation for the remainder of the school day). Please work with us to help your sons manage their phones respectfully and responsibly.

The Y1/Y2 Parent Information Evening is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Student Centre. Please mark your calendars and come out to hear more insights about the iDiv from our speakers. Please see the agenda below:
