Message from Andrew Turner, Director, Residential Life
Three months have passed since 26 new students arrived on campus to join the UCC boarding community. The boys have been challenged inside and outside the classroom, and most of them are experiencing the opportunity to live with a roommate for the first time.
The learning curve has been steep, but the Senior house advisers have been very proud of the way all the boys are learning to support each other. I continue to be impressed with the level of peer tutoring, social interaction and general goodwill that helps create friends for life within the community.
A special thanks goes to the entire boarding staff for playing such a valuable role in the development of each boy and to every parent for making the leap of faith that UCC boarding would be a strong developmental step in your son’s journey toward adulthood.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!
