Message from Andrew Turner, Director, Residential Life
New students return prepared to be better organized, seek extra help when necessary, and work their hardest to prepare for team tryouts. Senior students vow to make the most of their last full term at the College.
Several seniors are completing their fifth year in residence and some start to feel nostalgic. They want to do their best to seal friendship bonds that will last a lifetime.
We’re pleased to see everyone back to make the most of the winter term. We’ve been in the midst of Spirit Week. Winterfest activities are on tap for Fridayafternoon and evening. School basketball and hockey teams will be playing challenging games versus Crescent School, St. Andrew’s College and Nichols School. Many boys will head to Blue Mountain Ski Club near Collingwood, Ont. this Sunday. We’re doing our best to get boys out to enjoy the winter weather.
Four boarders participated in a full weekend hockey tournament at St. Andrew’s College in Aurora last weekend. All the boarders were introduced to a new healthy snack initiative that was proposed by SAS fitness director Matt Verboom on Tuesday night.
I hope you enjoy the photos.
