Message from Form 2F
Laughter is abundant in Form 2F these days. Our current unit of inquiry, “Giggles are Contagious!” has us examining how human beings use humour to express themselves. As we explore this central idea, we’re busily inquiring into how humour is used to communicate; different types of humour; and lastly, the function of humour in our lives. We’re reading lots of funny and interesting types of literature and are in the process of writing comics, rebus poems, mad libs, tongue twisters and playing charades. Thank you for helping us to make a class collection of familiar sayings and expressions. Please stop by our classroom and take a look at our door and bulletin boards where all of our work is becoming displayed. We’re sure you will leave with a smile on your face.
With the March Break only two weeks away, we hope you have a wonderful, safe, fun-filled and relaxing time whether it be here in the city or on the road. Things to look forward to in our third and final term of school include: hosting a bake sale in support of The SickKids Hospital Clowning program; our extended Norval day trip; our Famous Explorer Fair; Grandparents’ Day — and warmer weather!
