I hope you, your sons and the rest of your family had a fantastic summer and it’s my absolute pleasure to welcome back everyone for another school year. The Upper School was a buzz yesterday with the return of veteran and new boys. As they re-connected with one another, faculty and staff, the collective energy was palpable. The excitement of the newly completed iDiv added to this energy and all seem eager and enthusiastic to get classes started. If you were among the fortunate parents to get a sneak peek at the new iDiv, I hope it excites you as much as it does us. If you weren’t able to drop in today, please look for an invitation from your son’s Year 1 form adviser or Year 2 Senior House adviser to come earlier on curriculum night next Tuesday for a meet and greet.

Co-curricular activities will begin in phases and try-outs for school rep teams typically are the first to get going. Please be sure to encourage your sons to check the Athletics link on the school’s website for try-out details. There are opportunities to join teams that make cuts as well as no-cut team. All questions can be directed to your son’s adviser, their PE teachers or me. As for other co-curriculars like the arts and clubs, your sons should be sure to check notice boards, websites and listen for announcements in assemblies. Again, questions can be directed to advisers, known program leaders or me.

On behalf of the faculty and staff, it’s great to be back working with your sons and we look forward to a terrific year. Thanks for reading.
