Heads Up

Welcome to Heads Up, your one-stop source for news about your son’s upcoming activities and events.

Leaving a legacy for the Class of 2019

Each year, by tradition, we ask the parents of the Leaving Class to come together and support the Leaving Class Scholarship Fund.

We hope you’ll take this opportunity to make your sons’ legacy a lasting one by contributing to the Class of 2019 Scholarship Fund. This will be a needs-based scholarship, awarded annually to a high-potential boy who demonstrates the greatest financial need.

Establishing this fund allows the boys of the class of 2019 to give back to the College as Old Boys. Traditionally, Old Boys regularly direct their donations to their class scholarship fund. In some cases, they regroup in 10 or 15 years to modify it to reflect what’s important to them.

The goal is to reach $75,000 in donations by Saturday, May 25. To date, you’ve raised $32,975.

Please consider making your own gift — of any size — and help give deserving boys from all walks of life access to a UCC education, now and in the future.

It’s important to note that all donations made to any area of the school will count towards the Leaving Class parent participation rate and we’re aiming for a 100 per cent participation rate.

To make a donation click here and receive a Canadian receipt for income tax purposes. For international gift please click here. For more information please contact Associate Director, Annual Giving Joanne Weedmark at 416-488-1125 ext. 2000 or jweedmark@ucc.on.ca

If you’ve already contributed to the UCC Fund or the Class of 2019 Scholarship Fund, thank you for your generous support.
