Kids and social media presentation on Feb. 14
Join us at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14 as Chris Vollum speaks to the parent community to explore the challenges and opportunities facing boys in the world of social media.
Since Vollum is speaking to Year 4 to 7 students in the afternoon, this is an excellent opportunity to engage in some important discussions with your son about social media.
An interactive, relaxed (sometimes hilarious) and user-friendly session, the parent experience invites participants to bring and use their smartphones and tablets to gain new knowledge about the social applications and platforms that their kids use to define their identities, personalities and reputations. The session will be roughly 70 to 90 minutes in length and include time for questions and answers.
Parents will walk away with clarity, confidence, joy and new skills on how to knowledgeably support and discuss both the benefits (of which there are many) and risks of social apps and platforms with their children. This experience celebrates and empowers parents to move forward into using social media in a manner that eliminates fear and uncertainty.
Please fill out this form if you have any questions about this session or for Vollum before the presentation.
