Heads Up

Welcome to Heads Up, your one-stop source for news about your son’s upcoming activities and events.

Keeping in touch with your university counsellor

We hope that despite Covid-19, you had a chance to relax and look after yourself during the March break. Life has become somewhat unpredictable over the past few weeks, but the University Counselling Office will be doing its very best to keep you updated with the latest information regarding post-secondary admissions.

The counsellors will be online during regular office hours and you or your parents should not hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns. While we are working online, you should contact your counsellor directly if you wish to arrange a virtual meeting.

Once we have more clarity from the IB regarding the calculation of grades, we will be reaching out to admission offices where our students have offers in order to provide them with context regarding the final grades needed to confirm conditional offers. It is therefore vital that all students update Naviance regularly to reflect the status of their applications (acceptances, denials and wait lists). If you are unclear how to do so, please email your counsellor or Ms. Berndsen.

The University Counselling Office is here to support you in anyway we can as you navigate the remainder of the school year.
