IB scholarships at St. Mary’s University
St. Mary’s University in Halifax recognizes the added value of an IB diploma. All IB students who apply before March 15 are automatically considered for renewable entrance scholarships.
Students with predicted grades of 36 points or higher are eligible for a $14,000 scholarship; students with 28 points may receive an award of $3500.
Canadian or international students with strong academic performance (36 points or above), extracurricular leadership, and community involvement can apply for the International Baccalaureate Presidential Scholarship valued at $36,000. Applicants must submit a 750-word essay, a resume, and a letter of reference from a teacher or university counsellor, as well as a form signed by Dr. Kinnear, certifying their IB total.
