The Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars Program at the University of Notre Dame
The Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars Program “seeks exceptional young men and women who are passionate about making a difference in the world and have the potential to be transformational leaders.” Successful candidates possess:

• Sincere commitment to service
The twenty scholars receive four years of merit scholarship awards ($25,000 per year), four fully funded summer enrichment experiences, group activities with other scholars, and mentoring by dedicated faculty and staff. Click here for more information.
UCC may nominate one candidate for this scholarship. In order to be considered, students must submit a detailed statement indicating how they exemplify the selection criteria for this program no later than 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 14. The nominee must submit the online application (including two letters of reference and a counsellor nomination form) by Saturday, November 15. The student portion of the application cannot be submitted until after the counsellor has submitted the nomination form.
