Halloween at the Prep

Halloween-clip-art-8

Halloween is an exciting time for children. We hope that families enjoy the evening. In terms of school, we work on the basic assumption that the day should be a safe and productive, academic day. Any planned activities and the wearing of costumes are age/grade specific. No large props or masks and no weaponry, please.

Students may wear their costume or wear casual dress on the morning of October 31. Please remind boys that in preparing their costumes this is not a competition and that we would encourage them to make use of regular household materials to construct a costume with some flair and creativity.

They should bring their PE/Games clothing for class.

In the afternoon boys are to wear only their casual clothes.

Please speak with your Form teacher/adviser if you have any questions.

Halloween Safety

In the spirit of safety, good common sense, and a small dose of reminders will keep your trick or treaters safe this Halloween. Parents may want to check out the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website noting concerns around treats that might be offered at Halloween.
