Grad rings sales and fittings on Oct. 17 and 18; grad frames available online
It’s been a longstanding tradition at the College that men’s signet rings with the UCC crest are made available to Year 12 boys and their families. The purchase of these rings is entirely at your discretion and is in no way mandatory. Rings are available in a variety of styles and prices, as illustrated in the UCC-Grad-Rings-Flyer. Cufflinks are also available. (Only boys in Year 12 are allowed to purchase a graduation ring. However, cufflinks are available to all.)
Grad rings for the class of 2019 will be sold on Wednesday, Oct. 17 and Thursday, Oct. 18 from 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Bernick Family Foyer of the Upper School. James Hodge, a representative from First Recognition, will be at the College to measure your son’s ring size and take his order. Your son must have a credit card or cheque with him to place an order.
Rings ordered on Oct. 17 and 18 (and at A-Day) will be available for pick up on Wednesday, December 5 between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the foyer.
UCC graduation frames are made available as part of the inventory of UCC-crested frames available to all members of the UCC community. At the leaving class ceremony in May, Year 12 boys will receive a UCC diploma and a class composite. An IB certificate and an Ontario Secondary School Diploma will be mailed home in the summer. Specially sized UCC frames can be ordered to protect and display these if you wish. Frames are also available in a variety of styles and sizes to display the boys’ individual graduation photos. Click here for the flyer.
These frames are available throughout the school year and we would be happy to process your order at your convenience. Again, purchase of these frames is entirely at your discretion. For your convenience, please order online. Full payment is required to place an order.
Please contact PO representatives, Bev Grainger or Betty Reilly at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions regarding rings and frames.
