Gather your gear for PPO’s annual spring drive on May 10 and 11
We need your support! As you clean out your closets, please consider gathering adults’ and children’s gently used outdoor equipment including sleeping bags, groundsheets, rain boots, rain pants and coats. We also need sports balls and equipment including basketballs, footballs and soccer balls, cleats, baseball gloves and also books.
Help your son raise house points and gain pride in helping our community. It’s easy; just gather your gear and drop it off in the house coloured bins at the Prep School’s front circle at drop-off. The hours are Wednesday, May 10 and Thursday, May 11 from 7:50 to 8:30 a.m.
The PPO community service team will sort and deliver the sports balls and books to the families at Sprucecourt Public School, one of our Horizons’ partner schools. This UCC community service initiative provides a unique connection with several publicly funded inner-city schools.
The gently used outdoor equipment and sports equipment will be made available in the new Blues Closet for UCC boys and their families on a needed basis for trips to Norval, and sports and games activities at the school.
