Garden clubs starting soon
Through gardening, harvesting, tasting fresh produce and ecocrafts, students in the garden clubs will gain an understanding of how the earth produces food and how we can all make earth-friendly choices.
The activities of the clubs support the inquiry-based approach of the Primary Years Program.
The clubs are part of the co-curricular program led by faculty members and isn’t part of the fee-for-service after-school program (ASP). Please consult the ASP timetable to avoid scheduling conflicts when planning your son’s activities.
Permission letters have been distributed through form rooms and should be returned to Dianne Jojic. Spaces will be filled on a “first-come-first-served basis.”
Boys in Years 2 and 3 can join Sprouts, which will meet on Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.
Boys in Years 4 and 5 can join the Green Team, which will meet on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
