Could it get any better than a Friday night football game under the lights vs. neighbourhood rival, St. Michael’s College? You are guaranteed a great atmosphere for football when there are no competing school activities and the rival school is located six blocks from UCC. That was the setting when UCC varsity and St. Mike’s varsity went to battle on the Oval. The evening weather could not have been better and the team put together their best defensive effort of the season. The game was very close but the home team prevailed by a 4-0 score.

A win on the last game of the season in Port Hope versus Trinity College School clinched first place in the regular season. UCC will host Trinity College on Friday, October 31 at 1:30 p.m. on the Oval. The winner will play either St. Andrew’s College or St. Michael’s College on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Congratulations to all boarders participating in Friday Night Lights, and best of luck to the varsity football team vs. TCS on Friday.
