Fall athletic teams wrap up a stellar season

Last week marked the end of the fall season for the Prep School teams, and what an end it was. The U10, U12 and U14 cross-country teams finished their season with the CISAA championships at Centennial Park on Monday, Oct. 20. All four teams ran well and had multiple runners in the top 20 in each race. The team finished second overall in the boy’s division. For the first time in a few years the boys had a nice day for most of the CISAA championships. Most of the Prep soccer teams competed in their CISAA championship finals on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 25. The U13 soccer championships was on Saturday, Nov.1. The snow flew during the semi-final games, a clear sign the season should end. The results were:

U10C Soccer – CISAA Tournament third place
U10B Soccer – CISAA Tournament third place
U10A Soccer – CISAA Champions
U11B Soccer – CISAA Participants
U11A Soccer – CISAA Champions
U12B Soccer – CISAA Division 2 Champions
U12A Soccer – CISAA Division 1 Champions
U13B Soccer – CISAA Division 1 – 3rd place
U13A Soccer – CISAA Division 1 Champions, CAIS National Tournament Champions.

It should be noted that this is quite a special year for the Prep with CISAA Championships won at every age level.

U14 volleyball team – narrowly missed advancing to final four
U12 volleyball team – CISAA tournament record 2-2
U14 field hockey team enjoyed a season record of 5-1-1.

The boys all competed well and should be very proud of their results. Thanks to the many parents and friends who came out and supported the teams. Special thanks to our Blues Booster Club parents for their support, communication and extra special treats.
