We’re approaching the launch of this years’ PYP Exhibition inquiry. Each class had a visit from Form 6 Exhibition Experts this week. Thank you to Max Back, Spencer Tinkham and Jack Kedwell, who visited each Form 5 class this week to provide students with Exhibition insights from a student perspective.
The boys asked questions like the following:
- What was the best thing about Exhibition?
- What was the worst thing? easiest thing? hardest thing?
- What did you do for action?
- How did you divide work up?
- How did you work things out if you had a conflict in your group?
The Exhibition Experts ended each Form 5 session with “best advice for success” which included: choose a topic you’re really into; choose group members who won’t distract you; and stay on top of daily work so it doesn’t pile up.
The Form 6 Exhibition Experts will be available at the parent information session on Friday, Feb. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the library. If you plan to attend and haven’t already RSVPed, please take a moment to email your intent to attend to firstname.lastname@example.org. Many thanks. Please note, if you’re unable to attend, the presentation and handouts will be posted in next week’s Heads Up. Also, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your son’s Form teacher or Ms. Jojic if you’ve any questions.
Parents should also ensure that the PYP Exhibition Day is on your calendar and that you plan to attend on Friday, May 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. Exhibition projects will be showcased and we’ll celebrate Form 5 learning.
