Emory University Scholars Program
International students are eligible to apply for merit-based scholarships at Emory University. Emory University Scholars are “`intellectually carbonated’ individuals, leaders among their peers, and `spark plugs’ in their communities. They are forward-thinkers who stretch the boundaries of intellectual inquiry, artists with distinctive talents and creativity and difference-makers that act as catalysts for positive change.”
Those students selected receive funding ranging from partial tuition scholarships to awards that cover the full cost of attendance. They are mentored by senior faculty, receive stipends for undergraduate research and cultural experiences, and are eligible for special summer programs.
In order to be considered for this program, students must submit all parts of their Common Application to Emory University by Saturday, November 15. They must also answer one of the two Scholar essays on the Emory supplement. If selected as a finalist, students must attend an interview weekend in February or March; winners will be notified by early April.
