Diagnostic test for applying to U.S. colleges

UCC is working in partnership with The Princeton Review to provide an opportunity for interested IB1 students to write a combined ACT/SAT diagnostic test at no charge in order to determine which standardized test might be the best fit.

This session is scheduled on an afternoon focus day and will run from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20 for new IB1 students and those unable to attend last April’s session.

There will be a follow-up session to debrief the scores from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Please remember that, as these are practice tests, there’s no risk involved and no scores will be disclosed to colleges.

IB1 students who wish to take advantage of this opportunity must register with Leigh Berndsen at lberndsen@ucc.on.ca by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15. We’ll notify students about the location of the test once we’ve finalized the number of registrants. Students will need pencils, erasers and calculators to write the test.
