Course selection for 2017- 2018 academic year
Course selection for the next academic year opened on Jan. 24 and will close on Friday, March 3 at 4 p.m.
Course selections must be entered online in NetClassroom and be approved by the parent/guardian in NetClassroom by March 3. Scheduling for timetables begins shortly after.
All boys will receive or have received a course selection form (directions for students and parents are on the back of the form) and a booklet titled “Advice About Course Selection.”
Year 1 entering Y2
Each Y1 class has had an in-class presentation with the registrar on how to approach course selection for Y2. Students will also have an opportunity to check in with their form adviser to answer any additional questions.
Y2 entering FY
Students will have had an in-class session with a university counsellor. They’ll also have a house meeting with their counsellor to review course selection steps and address any questions.
FY entering IB1
Students will have had an in-class session with a university counsellor. Each student has been scheduled for a one-on-one meeting with their university counsellor, where his course selections for the two years of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme will be discussed.
Please ensure your son has completed his form online and that you’ve approved his selections through NetClassroom by March 3. We can’t begin scheduling courses until parents have given approval. Every effort will be made to timetable the combination of courses that the student chooses. If for any reason we’re unable to accommodate one of your son’s course requests, he’ll be contacted for an alternate selection. It’s very important that student course choices are carefully considered. Course changes at a later date may not be possible due to scheduling constraints.
