Candy making in Seaton’s
Thanks to Sufian Aliwaye, Salam Gueye, Coulter Taylor and Brandon Sambrano, the boys of Seaton’s House had sweet treats to enjoy last Wednesday. The boys made grape and cherry lollipops from scratch to share with their boarding brothers. The first attempt proved successful as they followed instructions to bring the sugary mixture to the perfect boiling temperature of 300°F before pouring it into molds. The biggest challenge was to wait for it to cool down… Once separated from the molds, the candies were covered with icing sugar and wrapped. Peach and watermelon are the next flavours on the menu!
